Suggestions with a reason
hyv looks at what's coming up for your family (a trip, the shares you hold, the wine in your cellar), ranks episodes against it, and tells you in one line why each one is there. Thumbs-down a show twice and it goes quiet. You choose how often suggestions come and when they're not allowed to.
Ready for the flight
Switch it on and hyv remembers your flights from Travel. When you get to the airport, your phone offers to download a few episodes before you board. It asks first, and never downloads on its own.
Picks up on any device
Start in the car, finish on the laptop. Another device shows what's playing, with controls, or you can take it over with Play here. Send an episode to your phone from the web, or set a show to download to the devices you choose.
